How Do I Get A Pirate Name?
For the purposes of this clique, you can get a pirate name however you want. You can make one up, you can use a quiz or name generator, or you can do a bit of both. About the Clique
I tend to go through random phases of pirate obsession. Hoist Your Colours was founded during one such phase in October 2007. I was thinking that I would quite like to be the cabin girl aboard a certain fictional ship (I won't say which one because you'll all think I'm crazy) and I decided that I needed a pirate name. I had seen name generators and quizzes lying around so I finally decided to take one. It was through this quiz that I was given my pirate name of Calico Anne Cash. I searched around to find if there was a pirate name clique and was quite surprised to find that there wasn't. Hence I decided to start one myself.
